Is it starting to warm up or what? Yes, August is upon us and with it is the warm weather. We are blessed with semi-clear skies so there has been a lot of flying activity lately. Join us for breakfast after your morning flight or in the afternoon for a milk shake. Do you have a favorite cold soup? Lets us know and we will put it out there. On behalf of the Upland Host Lions Club, we have sponsorships available, for $50, along with Fish Bake tickets $12 adult, $6 under 12. The Fish Bake is being held Friday, August 5, 2011 at 4:30 pm at Memorial Park on Foothill Blvd., in Upland. We will be serving Cod or Steak along with Cole Slaw, Roll and all the Corn on the Cob that you can eat. All profits benefit different organizations right here in the Upland area. Sponsorships provide eyeglasses to a schoolchild sent to us by the school doctor. Tickets and sponsorships available at the café see Michael or Tina.
