The big yellow plane is back!!!!

Last year the Ontario Police Department helicopter had to deliver Santa Claus in the annual Santa Run at Cable Airport. This year the Upland Fire Department was again escorting the AN2 down the runway with Santa safely inside.

Thanks to Chris LeFave, the Panda got a new paint job for the holidays.

Bob Cable, Mr. Hum Bug himself, once again helped coordinate this annual event for the kids of the Head Start Program of the Upland Parks and Recreation Department. The Upland Chamber of Commerce and many of the Upland businesses donate toys for the kids who otherwise may not have the joy of new toys for the holidays. This year, as part of their Christmas giving, the EAA Chapter 448 donated toys at their Christmas Party.

Not only did Bob coordinate the Santa Run for Cable Airport, he gathered more toys and took them to Edwards Air Force base for the enlisted men's families there. Much to his surprise, he was captured and forced to become Santa for pictures with the kids!!!
