Cable Airport, Upland California. 1600 hours. Curtis Y. Cable joins the family tree of pilots with his first SOLO flight in his Piper Warrior at the airport which bears his namesake. Curtis, age 26, like his father before him, is the hard working owner/manager of Foothill Aircraft Sales and Service, Inc. A family man with a wonderful future, Curtis continues the traditions and customs of the Cable Legacy.
