Cableites have been busy with their projects; traveled to the far reaches of the world; joined together in the proverbial search for a fun place to fly for breakfast, brunch, or dinner; and taken that terrifying step into the wild blue yonder, trusting that their many hours of love and labor will hold together until they touch down again. After a very busy few days in Marina del Rey, we have finally made it to the first official destination in our upcoming ever-so-loosely-structured itinerary, the place where we really begin the adventure -- the starting point of the Baja Ha Ha, San Diego. Just pulled in tonight, after a 26-hour trip from Marina del Rey.
This picture was on the latest blog....they are somewhere off the coast of Baha, trying to get way from a storm. This is an interesting part of their learning experiences.
Stephen Deutsch Solos Sept 29Then started out on a major adventure on his bicycle. He arrived in
Sydney, Australia October 16.... So far he has had a great
ride and stayed in some awesome beach places.
He leaves for Singapore on Christmas day (3 weeks there) then either to Thailand or Japan & Korea for 3 weeks. He will be back in Calif in February. If he has a job in Alaska he will return there if not he will stay here and do some more flying. CFI – Greg Haer.

The combined practice included Cable Airport for the Police staging activities, Holliday Rock Corporate Office building was where the senior volunteers were picketing and the volunteer kids staged their riots and simulated bombing.
