CABLE AIR SHOW 2010

The Air Show Committee had their first 2010 planning meeting in May, 2009. However, September starts the countdown. It is hard to believe that all of you should soon be getting a letter in the mail requesting support and participation in the 35th annual Cable Air Show and 2010 is the 65th anniversary of Cable Airport!!! We are looking forward to good things.

Before the ink was dry on the 2009 reports, the following people/organizations pledged their support. Lets give them all a big hand of applause for stepping up early!!!

Cable Air Show is conducted as an activity of the Cable Airport Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) organization. Accordingly, donations to the Cable Air Show qualify as charitable contributions under IRC sec. 170.

The primary mission of the PVPA, EAA Chapter 448 and the Cable Airport Foundation is to provide scholarships for individuals to pursue aviation education and training. Money for these scholarship funds are publicly supported through donations and fund raising events. We all want to give our young people an opportunity to get involved with general aviation and to promote community awareness.

Six years of love went into this third generation of airplanes for Fred LaForge. Just out of the paint shop with a similar paint scheme, the Harman Rocket gets the last few tweaks and final assembly. As Fred puts it “it flys like a magic carpet”

We are looking forward to seeing the Flintstone Rocket flying!!
