I can tell summer is ending, 100-degree weather, clouds and humidity, Labor Day weekend and the fair all collimating on the first weekend. With school starting and weather in the change mode, all of us at Maniac-Mikes Café hope that everyone had a safe and fun summer! We also wish Vicki a fond farewell as she sets up life in Indiana. We welcome Christa Roberts as our newest Hostess and John Patino our newest Cook joining Mark Pilarcik in the kitchen.
Keep an eye out, it seems on the 3rd Sunday of the month there has been a Cowboy Fast Draw Association Contest near the beacon. You should stop by and check out how fast these guys and gals can Draw, Cock, Fire and hopefully hit the target all in under a second.
