1944 Original purchase of 80 acres
1945  Built the main terminal building and the seven sided maintenance building
1946 Named the airport "Cable-Claremont"
1948 Purchased 40 acres
41 based aircraft
1949 Built first 20 T-hangars
1950 Built Runway 8-26
1952 Built an additional 20 T-hangars
1953 Runway 1-19 expanded to 1,340 feet
Runway 6-24 expanded to 3,150 feet
1954 Rotating beacon and runway lights for 6-24 installed

1988 Original T-hangars demolished to prepare for new hangar construction
1989 Built 69 T-hangars (replaced old demolished hangars)
Fenced, lighted, and paved parts of airport
Grant #2 built 2 helicopter pads at east end
Closed north side of Aero Commander sheds
Added storm drain to north side of Aero Commander sheds
1991 Grant #3 Taxiway and storm drain improvements
1992 Grant #4 Taxiway, Storm Drain and water line improvements
Built 21 box hangars
Put lights on east end of helicopter pads
1993 Grant #5 Installed storm drain
Installed new radio controlled runway lighting system
Sealed pavement for the entire airport
Added new stripping and runway signs
Built 2 helicopter pads at west end of airport
Added lights to one of the west end helicopter pads
1994 Repainted most of the buildings and roofs on the airport
