Lon Arnold

Lon Arnold flies an IFR equipped Long EZ. With state-of-the-art aerodynamics and construction, Lon's efficient, 2 place, all composite aircraft can stay in the air for over 10 hours and travel up to 1,600 miles nonstop. In addition to doing aerobatics performances at air shows Lon teaches electronics at the College of Eastern Utah.

Growing up in the central Utah town of Price, Lon Arnold knew by age 4 that he wanted to fly.  Working on his Boy Scout Aviation merit badge Lon took his first flight at the age of 12 and was hooked for life.  As a Civil Air Patrol Cadet, aerospace education and flying opportunities came on a regular basis. Two weeks after his 16th birthday Lon performed his first solo flight.

Lon Arnold in his Long EZ

Lons Long EZ is quipped with engine and wingtip smoke, Lon and his futuristic looking Long EZ will put on an air show that you will never forget.

Lon dazzles the crowd with grace full of high-speed  aerobatics. With the futuristic look of the Long EZ, on the ground or in the air, heads will turn. When parked, people will ask which end is front? How do you get the nose off the ground? In the air people will ask if it is something from Star Wars Defense Initiative?
